Children's program in winter

Nature, fun, and entertainment for the little ones and the bigger ones

When you were a kid, do you remember the first snowfall of the season? What could be better than bundling up and running outside to build a snowman? This is exactly what children can experience in winter here in Schwarzenberg.

This winter experience can be found right outside the door: snowball fights, lantern hikes, toboggan rides, or building snowmen on the Angelikahöhe. Only when you come inside to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate will you realize how tired you are.

A farm has a lot to offer in winter: if you would like, you can visit the animals in the stables. The Metzler family in the neighboring town of Egg have around 70 goats in a pen. There is also a small dairy farm there. You can learn interesting information about cheese and the best thing is that you get to sample the cheese!

In Egg, the little ones can also learn about felting. The felt workshop offers a special program for children. Both parents and children can have fun on a leisurely winter hike to the Werkraumhaus in Andelsbuch: here there are changing exhibits and a great children's program.
