Built out of fir and beech wood from the region, the hall conveys a warm, clear atmosphere in which you will feel completely at ease. At the same time, if offers outstanding acoustics especially for concerts and CD recordings. Along with acoustic advantages, the Angelika Kauffmann Hall impresses with its layout options. Flexible modules and partitions can make the open spaces under the roof beams appear larger or smaller to suit the respective event. The size of the adjacent foyer is also adaptable. For book presentations, exhibits, ect., it can be booked separately from the hall.
The Angelika Kauffmann Hall can accommodate 600 people with concert seating, 450 people with banquet seating, and 380 people with conference seating. For balls, it can be adapted to accommodate up to 900 people.
During intermissions, visitors can directly access the courtyard through the open entrances in the glass facade. The upper floor has a terrace with a view of the surrounding Hangspitz and Niedere mountains.
