Bregenz swimming beach

The recreation center at the swimming beach has a playground and sunbathing areas, 50 m outdoor pool, pebble and sand beach with access to the lake, diving platforms, kid's pool, mother & child area, slide, table tennis, climbing wall, as well as areas for beach volleyball, beach soccer, and streetball.

Arrival

We recommend traveling by bus. You can travel directly to Bregenz on line 35 without having to worry about finding a parking spot. With the Guest Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal, you can take the bus from Schwarzenberg to Bregenz for free. Please note: the Guest Card Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal is not valid within Bregenz.

The Bregenz pools can be reached in a 5 min. walk from the train station.

Parking: free parking is available at the WEST parking lot behind the Casino Stadium. The EAST parking lot is staffed with attendants throughout the year.


Hard swimming beach

With its 40,000 m², it is one of the largest and one of the most popular pools around Lake Constance. The Hard swimming beach delights visitors with its variety: a separate mother & child area with playground and awnings, a pool with different slides, "Captain One-Leg's pirate ship", the neighboring mini golf course, a synthetic turf soccer field, a basketball court, table tennis, two beach volleyball courts, grass soccer field, 25 m sports pool, a closed-off kid's pool, kiosk, and self-service restaurant, Yep, great importance is placed on diversity as well as water quality at the Hard swimming beach. Thus, the water is treated with state-of-the-art Grander technology.

Lake Constance boat ride

A boat ride on Lake Constance is a special enjoyment: several times a day from Easter to mid October, scheduled boats run from the Bregenz harbor towards Konstanz via Lindau, Wasserburg, Nonnenhorn, Kressbronn, Langenargen, Friedrichshafen, Immenstaad, Hagnau, Meersburg, and Mainau Island.

Special offers combine a boat ride and admission to Mainau Island, the Sea Life aquarium in Konstanz, the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen, stilt houses in Unteruhldingen, and the Meersburg Castle.
