Gasthof Alte Mühle

This country inn is in a very idyllic location. The ambiance is cozy, the guest garden is simply a dream, and the exquisite cuisine of Marietta Wild has long since made a name for itself.

The Alte Mühle is around 800 m from the town center in the direction of Egg. Made of stone and wood, the house was built in 1746. After a very eventful history, Marietta's mother bought the mill, which over the course of time had become somewhat run-down. The country inn was spruced up with extensive but very careful renovations that preserved the original structure of the house. Over 18 years, the avid chef developed her own cooking style that was curious, open, and uncompromising in terms of quality.

In 2003, Marietta Wild took over the inn from her mother. She places great importance on local ingredients. Regional, seasonal specialties are reinterpreted with great feeling, and her success proves that she is right: the Alte Mühle has become firmly established in the culinary map of the Bregenzerwald.

The cellar at Gasthof Hirschen houses both the traditional and the modern, always of high-quality. You will find sparkling Veltliner from traditional Austrian wineries along with unfiltered natural wines from small areas of cultivation throughout the world, and you might even learn to appreciate new combinations. Many of the fine wines are available only at the Hirschen, especially since special wines are bottled exclusively for the Hirschen such as Gschpano or Freye Liebe vom Weingut Heinrich in Gols.

Gasthaus Adler

This restaurant delights guests with exciting creations of local cuisine. Traditional and at the same time light, contemporary dishes are made from natural, fresh ingredients. 

The historic house in the village square of Schwarzenberg was built in 1756. In 1990, it was restored according to traditional, handcrafted methods. The careful restoration by architect Hermann Kaufmann gave the bright, cozy guest rooms a certain "something". The ambiance of the Adler and its rooms, which are steeped in history, is fascinating. The cuisine is contemporary and light. Accordingly, importance is placed on regionality and balance.

Mesnerstüble

The small, cozy cafe-restaurant in the town center of Schwarzenberg offers light, regional cuisine, and patrons have been convinced by its high quality for quite some time. It is considered an insider's tip.

Good food, a comfortable atmosphere, as well as excellent prices and service are the signature features of the Mesnerstüble. A vast array of dishes is offered. The high quality of the dishes and the friendly service make every visit here a true pleasure.

Hotel Marvia

Up here on the Bödele, you can enjoy more than just an impressive mountain panorama. Whether breakfast, coffee, or dinner - the kitchen will pamper you with regional specialties. It is located at one of the most beautiful viewing points between Dornbirn and the Bregenzerwald. Up on the Bödele directly on the pass, Hotel Marvia is only 10 min. by car from Schwarzenberg.

Gasthaus zur Buche

A quaint inn with rustic furnishings. If you are a fan of traditional cuisine, you will get your money's worth here. Whether cheese "spätzle" or fried alpine cheese - Gasthaus zur Buche specializes in delicious local cooking. Small garden.

Gasthof Ochsen

Gasthof Ochsen is one of the oldest inns in Vorarlberg and has been open for around 400 years. The hosts will pamper you with home-style cooking. The inn is open every last Saturday in the month as well as Sunday morning for brunch and drinks. During the Schubertiade and all other kinds of events, Gasthof Ochsen is also open and is a rustic venue for gatherings, birthday celebrations, company parties, funeral banquets, ...

This restaurant offers a modern ambiance with a fantastic panoramic view of the wonderful mountains of the Bregenzerwald.

Cafe Angelikahöhe

The cozy cafe is only 200 m from the town square and 150 m from the Angelika Kauffmann Saal. The homemade cakes and pies are simply heavenly, especially when they are enjoyed on the sunny terrace. The small dishes and snacks are also highly recommended. Tip for wine lovers: excellent wines are served by the glass here.

Alpenhotel Bödele

Alpenhotel Bödele, located directly on the pass, is dedicated to health-conscious cuisine. Enjoy unique creations from organic, vegan, vegetarian, and wholesome products. From the beautiful terrace, you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Bregenzerwald mountains. Reservations are requested!

Hochälpelehütte

The hut is located near the summit of the Hochälpele at an elevation of 1460 m. Regional home-style cuisine.

Meierei Oberlose

The Meierei Oberlose offers delicious food and drinks. The lunch bar and sunny terrace invite you to linger and enjoy yourself.

Bregenzer Hütte

Between the Bödele and the Weißenfluh, the hut is located directly on the Klausberg. It is well-known for its regional home-style cuisine.

Dornbirner Hütte

Refreshment hut at the ski area Bödele (Lank lift). 

Gasthof Berchtoldshöhe

Lank Hütte

Located directly on the Bödele, this hut is the perfect place to take a break. Along with small snacks, warm dishes and desserts are also served. If it gets too late, you can stay here overnight. Terrace with panoramic view. The hut is continuous open from November to the end of March and on registration (minimum 10 people) it's possible to open the hut outside the opening times.

Haldenstüble

Refreshment hut located right in the ski area by the Haldenlift. Cozy dining area and sunny terrace with a wonderful view. Snacks and small meals are offered.
