Snowshoeing and winter hiking

The quiet enjoyment of Schwarzenberg's natural paradise

Explore the white winter wonderland in a quiet way. Winter hiking allows you to intensely experience the tranquility of nature. In Schwarzenberg and on the Bödele, you will find many snow-covered winter hiking paths and hiking tours. With snowshoes, you can enjoy the beautiful winter scenery off the beaten path. Guided tours are offered by the Schwarzenberg Ski School.

Berchtoldshöhe winter hiking tips

With snowshoes, head from the Bödele Pass and Berghof Fetz via the Geißkopf to Gasthaus Berchtoldshöhe, where you can warm up in the hut. You can return along the same path or walk down into the village.

Angelikahöhe path

This loop trail leads for ca. 50 min. over snow-covered fields to the hamlets of Egg-Wies-Hofegg. The starting point is Cafe Angelikahöhe. Children should bring their toboggans along with them and make a detour to the nearby children's toboggan runs.

Lustenauer Hütte/ Bregenzer Hütte

Hike directly from the town center towards the Unterkaltberg – Klausberg. After ca. 2 hrs., you will have reached the top. You can now continue either to the Lustenauer Hütte or the Bregenzer Hütte and take a break there. You can return via the same path or in the direction of the Bödele Pass. You can also head downhill on snowshoes through the glistening deep snow.
